“ The first time I've eaten here. It certainly won't be the last. My friend and myself were welcomed warmly by a lovely waitress. She took our drinks order, our dinner order. I had the belly pork,cooked perfectly. My friend had the steak and mushroom pie with handcut skin on fries . Both portions were extremely generous. The food was hot and flavourful . A 5* experience. We were very impressed ”

“ Popped in for a quick bite, been for drinks in the past 1st time for food. Lovely steak sandwich. Cooked medium rare, (perfect), very tender and nicely presented. Also ordered ‘Greggs’ chicken stottie it was so filling full of chicken and came with gravy on the side...... Great to have a ‘real stottie’. Both served with chips. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Good value for the food quality and quantity. Will certainty return soon. ”

“ Lovely food, smashing staff and really affordable. We were in the Stables at the back, which was a dog friendly area with music videos playing on TVs on every wall. I would have preferred the main pub, but it was a last-minute thing, literally a walk-in. A nice venue for a friendly catch-up or family meal. ”
